Massage for Sciatica

Description

Sciatica is set of symptoms rather than a diagnosis for what is irritating the root of the nerve with pain that travels into the gluteal area and down the back of the leg, sometimes to the foot. The pain can be accompanied by tingling, ‘pins and needles’, or numbness, and sometimes by muscular weakness in the leg. This treatment includes assessment and appropriate massage treatment including trigger points, thermal stones and cupping to address the discomfort caused by a dysfunctional sciatic nerve.
